Sponsor a Local Wonder Woman: Inspiring the next Generation of Leaders

March is Women’s History Month, and Florida Children’s Museum is proud to launch Wonder Women—a month-long celebration of inspiring women making history right here in our community. This unique exhibit and event will uplift the stories of local women in business, public service, science, the arts, and beyond—giving our young visitors, especially girls, real-life role models to emulate throughout March 2026.

Through vibrant photo displays and storytelling, Wonder Women connects children’s everyday experiences at the Museum with real-world careers and community impact. A firefighter. A chef. A scientist. A teacher. If a child plays it here, we help them dream it out there.

Why It Matters

Representation builds confidence: Seeing women from diverse backgrounds celebrated for their achievements in a space made for children helps spark aspirations and build self-worth. Children can’t be what they can’t see.

Rooted in Play:

Museum exhibits—from our pizza truck to our fire engine—will feature signage like:
“If you love the fire truck here, you might like to be a firefighter like I am!”

Nominate and sponsor a Wonder Woman from within their organization or profession

Step 1: Nominate your Wonder Woman by completing the below form

Step 2: All nominations will be reviewed and finalists will be selected

Step 3: All final Wonder Women will have a short photo shoot at the Museum for their feature.

Step 4: The nominator and/or their business sponsor the exhibit display (36″ x 72″) for $1,000. The Finalist will receive the display at the end of March.

Celebration Day + Reception

All Wonder Women finalists, their guests, and nominators will be invited to a special Celebration Day and breakfast reception.
