As one of the largest cultural attractions in Tampa Bay, we are a vital resource for children and families. Our journey began in 1991 in Lakeland, Florida, as Explorations V Children’s Museum, dedicated to hands-on learning through play. For 30 years, we transformed downtown Lakeland before expanding into a new facility in 2022, anchoring a privately funded public park and embracing a new name and mission: to make play accessible to every child.

Night at the Museum is our signature fundraising event, helping us ensure that 1 in 5 visitors — 20% of our attendees — can experience the Museum for free through our social service partnerships. Your support through sponsorships, ticket purchases, and auction participation directly funds these opportunities, making a lasting impact.
