Homeschool Workshops

Bring learning to life at Florida Children’s Museum! Designed in collaboration with Central Florida’s homeschool community, these hands-on lessons build skills for confident life-long learners.

Workshops take place on Mondays or Wednesdays, with a new topic each week. Monday workshops are part of the Cook It! Series taught in collaboration with Katherine Bates of Nutrition Reset. Kids will take part in a collaborative kitchen session, creating a meal from another country.  Wednesday workshops are part of the Explore It! series. Kids will engage in activities related to a particular topic of interest, such as robotics. Each workshop is 1.5 hours long and is divided into 2 classes–one younger class, with children from 5 to 8 years old, and one older class with children 9 years and older. Online registration closes one business day prior to the workshop at 5 pm. Workshops are $18 for members and $20 for non-members.

Registration for the remaining Homeschool Workshops is full.
